SMP Announces Western Region Sales Management Restructure
SMP Data Communications (Superior Modular Products) is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Thompson as the new Western Regional Sales Manager and the promotion of John Awad to the position of Western Regional Technical Sales Manager.
Brian Thompson comes to SMP with 22 years in the communication industry and an extensive background in structured cabling sales management. As the Western Regional Manager for SMP, Brian will be responsible for overseeing sales and marketing efforts for California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, and Wyoming. Reporting to Brian will be Electrigroup, Inc, covering Northern and Southern California, Hawaii and parts of Nevada, Proactive Marketing, covering Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and newly appointed Aspen Power & Telecom Sales, covering Utah, Montana, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming and El Paso, TX.
To compliment Brian's new appointment, he will be joined in his sales efforts by John Awad. John has been employed at SMP since 2001 and boasts fifteen years of experience in the datacom industry and a proven commitment to the dedication of high quality standards set by SMP. Within his new role, John's responsibilities will include assisting SMP sales efforts through technical and design integration support. John's technical proficiency will assure continued expert support to our existing and potential customers. Both John and Brian will report to Dan Trotta, Director of Sales and Marketing.
